Tips for Santa's Visit
Here we are just one week before the big day. Santa will be on his way in the wink of an eye. He will need snacks along the way to keep him going. Depending on what the little ones leave for him he could end up consuming more that seven billion calories and more than three million grams of fat in one night.
As you and yours decide what you might leave for Santa, think about leaving a healthy treat. Some options might be:
- Low-fat milk and gram crackers
- Yogurt mixed with fruit and/or cereal
- Peanut butter sandwich and glass low-fat milk
- Cheese and crackers with sliced apples
- Spiced apple cider and a granola bar
Don't forget to leave the reindeer (and perhaps Santa) some carrots and celery. They probably would also enjoy sliced red and green peppers. And remember, no snack for Santa is complete without a cookie.
Have a joyful and peaceful holiday.
